Being centrally located between Coniston Water and Windermere, Thie Loghey is the perfect base from which to enjoy and explore the Lake District and its many tourist attractions.

Hawkshead is a quaint village only 10 minutes walk away, with many buildings oozing character dating from the 17th century. It has a vibrant community steeped in history; being much loved by William Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter. You can stroll through the winding cobbled streets leading to charming old inns, delightful tea rooms and cafes. The village is surrounded by tremendous walks including Tarn Hows and Grizedale Forest.

Once you have visited Thie Loghey you will want to return time and time again.

The Property

This superior fully equipped self-catering holiday accommodation comprises:

Entrance hall; an excellent area for removing boots and hanging outdoor equipment.

Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room which is light and airy with oak flooring, vaulted ceiling, a feature log burning stove mounted on a traditional Lakeland slate hearth and large leather corner sofa. A large flat screen TV, Blu Ray DVD player with CD player and iPod-dock also incorporated.

The dining area has a large oak table and chairs and the open plan fitted kitchen includes a wide range of modern appliances.

The property has two double bedrooms and one twin, each with integrated wardrobe and luxurious carpet under foot; the master bedroom is serviced by an en-suite with a large rain shower. In addition there is a separate family bathroom with shower over bath ideal for ‘re-charging the batteries’ after a long day on the picturesque fells.

Access to the spacious decked veranda, which is equipped with outdoor furniture and BBQ, can be gained through two double glass-panelled doors from lounge and/or dining area.

The property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. All bedding is Egyptian cotton and duvets and pillows are filled with non-allergenic polyester. 100% cotton towels are supplied for all guests.

Fan assisted oven, four ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, gas central heating to radiators, washer/dryer, decking/terrace, free wireless broadband, selection of books, DVDs, CDs & board games, TV in double bedrooms, hairdryers, private parking for two cars, tranquil rural setting.
